Our volunteer roles are remote based . This means you will volunteer from home and that you will need a computer or laptop and a mobile phone that are compatible with our software and programs to do the role. Do you have access to a computer/ laptop and mobile phone at your home?



While we make every effort to make sure our volunteer training programs cover all aspects of the role, we do require that our volunteers are already comfortable using and have some experience using computers. For example, Excel and email. Are you comfortable using computer programs?

Arthritis Queensland has a duty of care to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our consumers, volunteers and employees. This is in part achieved by undertaking a criminal record check for staff and volunteers; to avoid placing clients, volunteers and employees at risk of potentially inappropriate situations. I authorise Arthritis Queensland to contact my referees as required. If required, I will provide Arthritis Queensland with information to compete a criminal record check. I confirm that to the best of my knowledge the information provided in this application form is true and correct. I will provide copies of any requested and relevant qualifications, visa, registrations, insurance, identification or licenses prior to commencing a volunteer role. If I am not an Australian Citizen I will provide that I am eligible to volunteer in Australia prior to beginning a volunteer role. If this status alters I will inform Arthritis Queensland. If my application is successful I will be bound to comply with the policies and procedures of Arthritis Queensland, which will be provided as part of the induction process.
