Twinkletoes: Arthritis Family Fun Day

Join us for our Twinkletoes event, a community-centric and engaging experience especially tailored for families navigating Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and children under 12.

This is more than just another event - it’s a valuable resource for families dealing with JIA.

This special day blends educational insights with fun recreational activities, all designed to support, inform, and bring together families experiencing the complexities of JIA. Whole families, including siblings, are welcome!

Date: Saturday, 30 November 2024
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Cost: Adults: $10, Child: Free
Example Schedule:

  • 10:00am: Arrival 
  • 10:30-11:30am: Education Session with Dr Navid Adib for parents. Children aged 3 and above are welcome to join staff and volunteers in some animal shows. 
  • 11:30-12:30pm: Catered Lunch (Lone pine has V, GF, Vg dietary options) 
  • 12:30-1:30pm: Animal Meet and Greet for families 
  • 1:30-1:40pm: Group Koala Photo Experience 
  • 1:40pm onwards: Free time in the Sanctuary (visit animals and feed kangaroos)
