Standing Calf Raise

The Standing Calf raise exercise works on building strong calf muscles which play an essential role in balance. Start by standing with feet flat on the ground hip-width apart, Next, raising up onto the ball of your feet, using a rail for balance. Control the descent phase by slowly lowering back to the ground. To start off, try for 8-10 reps for 2-3 sets.
