Arthritis Assist Peer-Mentors

Peer-Mentors are responsible for providing one-on-one peer support, information and referral services to fellow Queenslanders living with arthritis. Peer-Mentors are matched with Arthritis Assist Participants who share similar experiences and characteristics, and offer support via telephone calls. Arthritis Ambassadors

The key role of Arthritis Ambassadors is to speak to community groups and organisations across Queensland about arthritis and their experience of living with arthritis, to help in raising vital awareness. Information Services Volunteers

We are currently seeking volunteers who love engaging with people, to help our Health Promotion team in delivering our vital information and support services. The role is required for at least one half day per week in our Fortitude Valley office, for a minimum of 6 months. Click below for more information and to apply!

Online Support Group Moderators

Arthritis Queensland runs three online support groups which provide support to people facing the challenges of life with arthritis. Volunteer moderators must be existing members of one or our online support groups and must have lived with arthritis for at least 2 years. Time commitments are variable, and volunteers can be located anywhere is Queensland. Follow the below links for more details and to apply!
