Real Arthritis Stories

My OT told me I have mild osteoarthritis in my knees, and I did play a lot of sport years ago, basketball and tennis, and my knees have suffered from both those sports. It’s confusing though, because having Parkinsons also involves some loss of ability.

Josh had a great time and made everlasting friendships. He believes that he and his friends from Camp Footloose have superpowers, because they face so many challenges that others take for granted.

Sincerely, I hope my journey and life with JRA is able to inspire other children and give them hope. It’s within our own imperfections and in spite of the crutches we must live with, that we can still live each day with a sense of meaning, hope, and purpose.
