Why We Advocate
Arthritis affects millions of Australians, yet too often people are left waiting months – sometimes years – for appointments, facing high out-of-pocket costs, or struggling to find clear information. These barriers make it harder to live well with arthritis.
We believe everyone deserves timely, affordable, and appropriate care, no matter where they live or who they are. That’s why we advocate for change – to make sure your needs are seen, heard, and acted on.
Your Story Matters
The most powerful way to create change is through your voice. Sharing your story helps decision-makers understand the real impact of arthritis – from the frustration of long waits to the relief of finding the right support.
Whether your experience is big or small, positive or difficult, it can make a difference. With your permission, we use stories to highlight the realities of arthritis care and to push for solutions that work.
How You Can Get Involved
Together, we can make arthritis care more timely, equitable, and easier to access.

Queensland Budget Response 2025-2026
Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in our Queensland Government’s 2025–26 Budget submission. We will continue to call for targeted, cost-effective programs that support prevention, self-management, and improved access to care, especially for people in rural and regional Queensland.
