Resisted Step Outs
Resisted Step Outs are an excellent exercise to challenge walking strength and stability under load. Start with a band wrapped around a pole and the band held strongly in-front of your chest. From here, take several controlled steps away from the polo. Once you have reached a challenging distance, slowly walk backwards without getting flung back. To start off, try for 8-10 reps for 2-3 sets.
