1 in 5 Australians has arthritis – in 2007 that was 744,000 Queenslanders. If you don't have arthritis, most likely you know somebody who does: a family member, friend, colleague or neighbour.

Arthritis Queensland (inc Osteoporosis Queensland) is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on the generosity of donors to continue to provide services to the arthritis and osteoporosis communities. Gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Musculoskeletal conditions affect peoples’ lives every day. Mobility is restricted and activities are limited. Children, men and women start each day not knowing if they will have to suffer the unpredictable and painful consequences of living with arthritis. Presently there is no cure, but you can make a difference.

Your donations will help us continue to provide a wide range of services, including a free information phone line, self management courses and education seminars for the public and health professionals. You are investing in the future for the musculoskeletal community of Queensland.

Whether you are participating on one of our events or creating your own, you can build an online “Fundraising Page” including a photo and personal message. Email the link to your friends and family who can donate securely on line. You can relax as there is no cash collection, no paperwork and no hassles. You can use online fundraising for any occasion including birthdays. Your friends can leave a message of congratulations or encouragement and they will be immediately receipted.You can also choose to remember someone by raising funds for us through mycause. Donors can leave messages in remembrance too.
