Regular giving

Our Heroes Giving Hope regular giving program is made of a special group of generous supporters who commit to giving an affordable gift every month. These gifts make it possible for us to better help Queenslanders living with the pain of arthritis. 

These gifts are especially valuable to us as they ensure that we can continue to provide our support services (including the helpline), our educational programs for the arthritis and osteoporosis community and our contribution to funding more research into developing a vaccine for rheumatoid arthritis.

A memorial gift in lieu of flowers


Memorial gifts, in lieu of sending flowers to funerals or memorial services, are a wonderful way to pay tribute to the memory of someone you love. These special gifts are also a way for family, friends and colleagues to show that they care.


When planning a funeral, please consider organising memorial gifts to Arthritis Queensland.


It is easy to arrange memorial gifts in memory of your loved one.

Before the funeral

Speak with your funeral director, who will assist you.

Ask for the funeral notice to include: ‘Donations in memory of (name of loved one) may be made to Arthritis Queensland.’

The funeral director should have a supply of Arthritis Queensland memorial envelopes, or they can request them from us.

Thanking you

Arthritis Queensland will thank the family by sending a letter providing a list of names of everyone who has made a donation in memory of their loved one. For privacy reasons, the individual donation amounts are not disclosed.

Everyone who makes a donation is sent a letter of thanks and a receipt.

Special occasion donations


You can make a donation as a tribute at any time.

You may wish to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding with a donation gift registry at Arthritis Queensland.

To arrange, simply contact Arthritis Queensland on 1800 011 041.

Arthritis Queensland will advise you by letter the gifts made for your special occasion, but amounts will not be disclosed.
