Arthritis hurts children

… and most people don’t know or care.
Arthritis affects more children than diabetes and is much more painful and disabling than adult arthritis. Children with arthritis, who are not diagnosed and do not receive treatment cannot have a normal childhood because they are in terrible pain.
“It is hard for the kids to explain how arthritis affects them. Stiffness and pain have been part of their life and they know no different. How sad that they think it is normal” Tina Eichorn, whose son Brayden and daughter Tahlia both have juvenile arthritis.
If children with juvenile arthritis are diagnosed early and receive the joint saving treatment they need their futures are much brighter.
If your child has juvenile arthritis, or you are concerned they might, please call our free telephone helpline and ask to speak to one of our Health Educators on 1800 011 041. For more information, please click here
Your gift today will provide children with arthritis (and their families) advice and support, new programs which ensure children receive a quick diagnosis and treatment and help fund ground breaking research into a cure. You will be giving these children real hope for a future without pain.
Our services are funded almost solely by kind and generous people like you. Each year we receive about $0.04cents from the government for each person in Queensland with arthritis. Our programs for children with arthritis cost much, much more than that. With your help we can make sure that all children in Queensland get the help they so desperately need. Your gift today will help take away the pain.
Please join the fight against the pain of juvenile arthritis and send a gift to help children like Brayden and Tahlia. Your support (no matter how big or small) will help children with arthritis. Children with arthritis need friends like you.
Thank you,

Melissa Pryor, CEO
