Support Groups
Sometimes, no one understands what you are going through quite like someone else who is in the same boat.
Arthritis Queensland Support Groups provide a wonderful opportunity for people with various musculoskeletal conditions to come together to improve their well being through discussion and other activities.
Support Groups are located around the State and function in accordance with the principle of being a self-help group. Members share information, ideas, and experiences which help to meet their own needs, as well as supporting others.
Arthritis Queensland has many successful Support Groups throughout the State, run by very generous individuals who volunteer their time. We are very grateful for the tireless work of these dedicated individuals who provide much need support to people in their local communities. To all of the wonderful people in our Support Groups who do tremendous things we say THANK YOU!

Scleroderma & Sjogrens Association - provides support for people suffering from scleroderma, and now extends support and information to sufferers of Raynaud's Phenomenon, Sjogrens Syndrome and other auto immune diseases

Anklosing Spondylitis - is a support group, with social event ssuch as hydrotherapy exercise classes in Brisbane.
Lupus Queensland - Lupus Association Queensland (LAQ) dreams of a world without lupus, and its members are actively involved in seeing that dream become a reality. LAQ is an organisation consisting completely of individuals who have or are affected by lupus. We do not have staff, bureaucrats, or anyone involved who does not understand lupus and its possible devastating effects
Lupus Australia, Queensland Inc - The Lupus Australia, Queensland Incorporated is a non-profit, largely volunteer-driven charity. It is committed to providing support and education for its members; to raising awareness of Lupus and its impact among Lupus sufferers, their families and friends, health professionals and the general public; and to encourage research into the cause of and cure for Lupus.
