Support Groups and Services
Arthritis Queensland Support Groups
Sometimes, no one understands what you are going through quite like someone else who is in the same boat.
Arthritis Queensland’s support groups provide the opportunity to meet people who understand. Members share information, ideas, and experiences, so that everyone benefits. Each group is unique, but benefits include varied guest speakers, Tai Chi programs, and warm water exercise sessions.
Our support groups are run by generous individuals across the State, who volunteer their time to provide valuable support to people in their local communities. The groups work under the guidance and direction of Arthritis Queensland, and are bound by the Arthritis Queensland constitution, the Arthritis Queensland Support Group by-laws (2014), and the Arthritis Queensland policies.
An annual financial contribution to Arthritis Queensland is required by support group members. With membership, you will receive the quarterly Arthritis Queensland newsletter, Joint News, and regular notification of upcoming courses, seminars and events.
